DONT WORRY mr wiggums is not hurt he is simply Flaring, it is a territorial display where he puffs out his gills and extends a filmy membrane called a beard to warn off any other males.

I couldnt belive i got this shot ! Thanks Mr wiggums for a fish that didnt like to flare much you certinly made it well worth the wait!

I love that you can see the veins on the inside of his gill.
